Trinket Pot 4 – Yew Wood

£22.00

A beautiful handcrafted yew wood trinket pot from perhaps among the hardest of all softwood species, Yew is undoubtedly a unique wood species. The trinket pot was created from a branch sourced from Ystradfellte Cemetery in Brecon and is from a tree about 1,000 years old that fell during a storm. The wood was turned on a lathe to create the unique beautiful bowl and then finished with shellac and hand-polished with four coats of black bison clear polish to bring about the beautiful shiny look and smooth feel. The pot has natural cracks in the wood.
