WoodCraft-Co (aka WoodCraft) are professional wood turners and specialists in selling unique, beautiful-looking wooden ornaments that have been turned on a lathe and get much pleasure in making wood-loving buyers happy – here we offer:  A beautiful handcrafted wooden Trinket Pot made from Cocobolo, which is a tropical hardwood of Central American trees^. Only the heartwood of cocobolo is used; it is usually orange or reddish-brown, often with darker irregular traces weaving through the wood. The heartwood changes colour after being cut and can be polished to a lustrous, glassy finish; being quite dense, sometimes having a specific gravity of over 1.0, it will sink in water. The handle is Ebony, which is a dense black/brown hardwood. Unlike most woods, ebony is dense enough to sink in water. It is finely textured and has a mirror finish when polished, making it valuable as an ornamental wood. The wood was turned on a lathe to create the unique, beautiful trinket pot and then finished with shellac and hand-polished with four coats of black bison clear polish to bring about the beautiful shiny look and smooth feel.
