WoodCraft-Co (aka WoodCraft) are professional wood turners and specialists in selling unique, beautiful-looking wooden ornaments that have been turned on a lathe and get much pleasure in making wood-loving buyers happy – here we offer: A beautiful hand crafted wooden bowl made fromSpalted Maple, which is technically not a specific species of Maple, but rather a type of Maple that has been allowed to begin initial stages of decay. The partial decay, called spalting, gives the wood dark contrasting lines and streaks where fungus has begun to attack the wood. The wood was turned on a lathe to create the unique beautiful looking bowl and then finished with shellac and hand polished with four coats of black bison clear polish to bring about the beautiful shiny look and smooth feel.
