When the ageing environment is just right, the process yields a beautiful straight grain throughout the wood. The wood was turned on a lathe to create the unique, beautiful-looking bowl and then finished with shellac and hand-polished with four coats of black bison clear polish to bring about the beautiful shiny look and smooth feel.
